I didnt know what OpenClaw even is. So interesting to read how it could be "better". Unfortunately I think the only thing that can and will improve AI and ethics is policy. Similar to Pharma in the 70s, its now the wild west.

I love the nod to the 90s approach to software here! Tools like OpenClaw are a great bridge, but until my machine can handle the actual "thinking" without sending a packet out to an external server, the security loop isn't closed.

For everyday personal productivity, do you think consumer hardware (like the latest laptops and phones) will advance fast enough to run these fully local reasoning models, or will we realistically need standalone local AI appliances to get the job done?
